Many common complaints can be avoided by reading details planning ahead, and communicating clearly. I believe in forming my own experience —and I’m so glad I did. My experience was a 10,000/10. The staff and service were exceptional from start to finish. Everyone was professional, patient, and made me feel comfortable throughout my stay. Juma, the Front Office Manager, arranged my round-trip airport transfer with Emanuel who shared local history along the way. Juma clearly explained my package and handled a small misunderstanding on my end with patience and helpful solutions. Consolata, the receptionist, welcomed me warmly and made me feel at home immediately. I arrived early, and she personally showed me around the property while sharing its history, which I truly appreciated. Ramso, my butler, was outstanding—attentive, calm, and genuinely caring. When I had a room issue (my mistake), he went above and beyond to ensure my comfort, moving me to a room that exceeded expectations. I would absolutely request him again! Chef Mohammed delivered excellent meals from breakfast to dinner. The food was fresh, authentic, healthy, and flavorful, and his passion truly shows. Overall, I loved the scenery, privacy, cleanliness, safety, and peaceful atmosphere. Fruit & Spice is perfect for relaxation and exceptional service. I highly recommend this resort. — LissaKayy "

"My stay at Blue Reef was nothing short of magical. I truly felt like I was home and by the end of my visit, the staff felt like my extended family. They remembered me, cared for me, and made me feel genuinely special through the smallest, most meaningful gestures from offering me fresh passion fruit when I simply asked to take a photo of it, to inviting me behind the bar to show me how their fresh juice is made. The sunrises and sunsets were absolutely breathtaking some of the most beautiful moments I experienced in Zanzibar. One of the highlights of my stay was requesting an off-menu dish: ugali. The chef personally came out to ask how I liked the meal, which turned out to be the most delicious food I’ve had since arriving in Tanzania. My time in Zanzibar and especially at Blue Reef was pure magic. I’m beyond grateful for the warmth, hospitality, and unforgettable memories, and I cannot wait to return with my family."

"We had a wonderful stay at this property. It was beautiful, peaceful, and perfectly located within walking distance of all the major spots. The hotel also offers a trolley service to the beach, and for other destinations, transportation is available for a small fee, which was very convenient. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive. I appreciated the laundry service, enjoyed spending time by the pool, and felt well taken care of throughout my stay. Upon arrival, we were welcomed with a DJ, which created a great first impression and set the tone for a relaxing and enjoyable vacation. "Very welcoming and friendly staff; restaurant went out of their way to accommodate our dietary restrictions. The property is kept very clean and well staffed. If you want a break from the crowded touristy areas of Zanzibar; I highly recommend Treetop. Just be aware that off property it’s a distance to find restaurants or proper markets. But Treetop is so good for a quiet restful stay in Zanzibar. It’s also very close to Jozani Forest which is a major attraction for nature and wildlife "

"Our stay at the Passion Boutique Hotel was super fantastic. It could not have been better. We loved the location and the pool. Our room was delightful and had everything we needed (and some things we didn't know we needed like the ice machine!) We ate all our meals during our three day stay in the hotel's restaurant. All the meals were great but some were just outstanding. I had some of the best dinners I have had in a long time. Delicious! Madelina and her staff do an amazing job making sure everything goes smoothly. They are always checking to see that you are doing well. The wait staff are all lovely and display the right amount of amusing. Madelina helped me when I had booked flights for a very inconvenient time. Thank you. We highly recommend this Hotel and wish we could go back more often. However, it is approximately 15,000 kilometers away from our house. "

"Our best experience ever, my wife and I had our honeymoon for a full week here before heading to greece. The safari, the sand dune, snorkling and star fish diving was the best experience by this resort. I highly reccomend 10/10. You wont refret it at all"
