5/5 - Excellent
It’s right outside Edinburgh so you don’t have to pay ridiculous prices but you also don’t have to drive far to get to city center plus you are getting a much nicer hotel for less and to me that’s always a plus.

Such a beautiful city
It is a ways out of town which is nice and peaceful, but it was a little pricey to take taxis anywhere.
If you are traveling by car, it's worth to stay in this beautiful hotel outside of Edinburg and just take a bus/train into the city.
The bus tour is helpful to get a full view of the city. You can then go back and see what you want later
A beautiful location. If you are traveling from the U.S. i recommend renting a vehicle with a GPS.
