Away from the main city . Hotel location is quiet silent , lot of green farms behind the hotel.Hotel building is very old but well maintained . Hotel foods are very nice also the staff’s are fantastic and very helpful. They can improve cleaning in parking area and external stairs and inside corridors. Overall it’s a nice place to short stays

This is a converted pub with an Indian Restaurant on the ground floor. Food very good cooked to taste, no breakfast offered/available. Rooms clean but dated. TV not tuned in, only BBC channels available. Good shower/bathroom.

Perfect stay outside Edinburgh

Wonderful stay at theEarl David Inn. The staff are friendly and helpful. The dinner we ate in the restaurant was delicious. Our room was beautiful, clean, quiet and comfortable . The view from the window was so lovely!

Terrible experience !! The room was advertised for four people, it could hardly fit two. There was no place where to hang the clothes, and no space to move around !! Absolute disaster !! Had to cancel the reservation and booked another hotel !! Even though it was their fault for advertising that room for four people, and it was not, they charged me for one night !! Terrible experience, don’t book that hotel !! Save your money !!

The property was decent. The smell from the Nepalese restaurant was very apparent in our room. The beds were hard and pillows were lacking. Our room had a double and two twins and the room was to small for that amount of beds, barely enough room for our luggage.

Little gem outside Edinburgh.

Located about hour and a half bus ride from Edinburgh. Countryside Inn type of accommodations with rooms on the top floor and Nepalese/Indian restaurant downstairs. We were staying in a family room with 2 kids. Very clean, spacious updated bathroom, comfortable beds. Complimentary water, tea and instant coffee in the room. Super quiet at night. So we were able to get a good night rest. Restaurant downstairs is absolutely amazing! We ate there both nights. Highly recomend!

The four people bedroom is absolutely reasonable for a family. Our children is already at their teenage, but the room doesn’t seem to be too small. We were arranged with a room with beautiful scenery facing the fields and windmills. The bed and sheets were clean. The shower was good and strong. What’s more you can ask at that price! We have tried the Nepalese restaurant and the food was unexpectedly delicious and the service was very good.
