Peaceful getaway. Great service. Especially enjoyed onsen hot tub with the room.

Beautiful places a lot of spaces great amenities

Good hot springs and clean

I should have booked 2 nights to really enjoy! Everything was excellent. My 1st time in Japan and this was lovely. Staff checking me in spoke great English. I booked a huge tatami room and had a balcony overlooking the river. There is a turn-down service while you’re at dinner. Buffet was fantastic and the whiskey was not watered down at all! Definitely try the sesame ball things for desert. There are clear English instructions on how to use the onsens and an app that shows you how crowded...

We had Unit C and it was very comfortable for our group of 7 (4 adults, 3 kids (13,11,6)). There are directions on how to use everything. The beds and bedding are incredible comfortable. The bath tub gets nice and hot! The kitchen has all the dishes, utensils, cups, etc. you might need. I do wish there was some coffee available for the mornings, but now we know to bring our own. The surround sound projector TV is cool for access to streaming services. The location is a 5 minute walk to the...

Buffet dinner with steak and tempura. Good onsen water.

Spa and pools were premium. Staff is laways friendly and helpful. We stayed on the Ninth floor Club9 with an osen in the room. Most excellent!

Awesome value

Great price (~$120, slept 3 comfortably), private onsen available at the hotel and a free shuttle to a sister hotel with a public onsen (~$5). Large, clean, comfortable Japanese style room. Free parking available onsite.

Fantastic hotel and staff. The room was very comfortable and the food was amazing!

This hotel was amazing, but my booking experience through Hotels.com was terrible. I booked this hotel because we were planning to go to Edo Wonderland (kind of like a Renaissance Fair for Japan, you can dress up and interact with other characters, LARPing). I felt an onsen hotel would be great for relaxing after. I thoroughly read all the information available on Hotels.com prior to booking. After booking, in my confirmation email, it said we MUST check in between 3-7 pm. This information was...

It was very good! The ancient collection of Japanese poetry--the Manyoshu--after which the hotel is named, was even on display in the lobby.

The best part about this hotel was that everything was neat and clean and the dining was very affordable price
