Great location. Walking distance to all shops and pubs. Great easy going bar in accompanying restaurant tor "after pub night out" drink and wind down. Friendly / helpful staff with local knowledge and recommendations.
Good hotel! The hotel is located nearby bus station and is very easily accessible to the rest of the town. I'd stay here again for the convenience of location. There's a rather loud bar that does live music right next to it, so it wasn't always the quietest.
The most comfy bed I've ever slept in!! If I could have brought the whole bed home with me I would have! I have hip and back issues and it was the first time in years that I didn't wake up aching all over even after hours of driving and tons of walking!! Quite literally the most comfortable bed ever...I want to go back just to sleep!! Everything else was also fantastic...the room, the staff, the location and the breakfast were lovely!!
Very nice hotel. Right in the middle of town. Great restaurants nearby. The regatta was happening the weekend I stayed so it was pretty much a party at night. Loud music at the restaurant next to the hotel. But I wasn’t bothered. I travel with foam ear plugs.
Room and staff were lovely! Location is right in the center of town and has an amazing restaurant. Beware, bring earplugs as the walls are paper thin. Would definitely stay again, but with the noise in mind.
Excellent breakfast choices and so tasty. The staff were very friendly and attentive in all departments.A bit noisy from outside but that was to be expected when people are enjoying themselves. All in all I thoroughly enjoyed my stay.

My second visit to Kinsale and Blue Haven. Hotel is aging and could use a facelift. The adjoining restaurant and lounge is terrific however as is the hospitality therein.
The folks at reception on the other hand are less than hospitable.
The rooms were clean and well maintained. It was impressive they had Dyson dryers in the rooms: bathrooms were nice and the shower/tub combination was appreciated. The only negative was there is no elevator.
The room was clean and the bed comfortable. Could use a little refresh which I believe is in the works. The walls and ceilings are thin so we could clearly hear others talking and being romantic in their rooms but the windows kept the street noise at bay. We also had some unfortunate hallmates who were shouting and laughing in their room at 2:00 a.m. and we couldn't get in touch with any staff to quiet them. The location is right in the heart so very walkable to restaurants, pubs etc.

Always a lovely stay, right in the centre of town. I was up in one of the single rooms which are like sweat boxes given the heatwave, but you can’t blame the hotel for that!

Liked: Staff & service, amenities
Staff helpful, ongoing maintenance/decorating work
Very good breakfast
Street parking- have to pay after 10.30 am until 6.30 pm
I booked two separate rooms for this trip. When one of the rooms I booked did not have separate beds for my daughter and grandmother the hotel made arrangements with a sister property down the street, saved the Stay!
