「It’s an older property that has been completely renovated and very clean and modernized with a lot of attention to even the smallest details. If you’re looking for a resort property, this is not it. If you are looking for a clean and safe property with clean rooms and comfortable beds, close to everything and a great value, this is your place. 」

「Warm and friendly reception, clean and neat interior, overall good experience. Unfortunately the sink was clogged before we came in, and happy guests from a wedding were talking loud until midnight 」

「The room was large with two queen beds. The beds both creaked a bunch when you moved. It seemed very clean. The breakfast was the best we had had on our whole trip, while staying at five different places. Scrambled eggs, biscuits and gravy, waffles, among other items. The pool and hot tub looked amazing, but the sign reads that you can’t have any food or drinks in the pool room. That was very disappointing!! 」

「The Sierra Motel has a vintage look with all the modern amenities. Although the traffic noise can be a little loud, that was nothing that earplugs couldn’t fix. Everything has been updated and is very clean. We loved that we had a fridge, microwave, and Keurig. The staff is very friendly and accommodating.」

「The property is across from the Traverse City bay and has a beautiful view. It has easy access to us31 which can be taken along the water to get you to downtown. The front desk and Steven, the breakfast staff were very friendly and helpful!」

「We were on the 2nd floor. No elevator. Rooms were very nice and comfortable. There was no staff on duty. We had a late check in (after 11pm) and there was a notice on the door with the number of the hotel across the street to call if anything was needed. Only waited about 5 minutes for someone to come across to open the registration front door to get us checked in. She was very nice and apologized for the inconvenience.」

「This is an excellent go to when you need a place to stay that is clean, friendly and has good coffee. Used it for a place to stay for a work trip but kids would love the location on beach too! 」
