The location was nice with walkability to all the top sights, and staff were friendly. The property is historic so I expect some “charm,”but the large gaps between floor boards (aka holes) felt under the carpet in our room were a little concerning, the single key provided for the 3 of us that was needed to both open AND ClOSE the door was frustrating. Poor water pressure. The hotel had a large brass band performing on this Tuesday night which was fun - but they were loud in our room and played past 11:00. It was very hot in our room as well. Of course there is no AC, windows open a few inches. The room had two small fans provided but they offered very little power or air flow. The comforters on the bed were soft and fluffy, but the mattresses were quite uncomfortable. We hardly slept.

Hôtel vieux pas ou mal entretenu, chambre sale vétuste, tête de lit cassée, manque des bandes de tapisserie, ampoule grillée, salle de bain rudimentaire et tablette accrochée au mur en guise de TV. Le tout pour 175€: honteux ! Par contre petit déjeuner excellent ! A éviter formellement.

The staff were lovely & breakfast was great! However, the room had a dingy smell to it, the water pressure in the shower was practically non-existent, there was mould in the bathroom, beds weren’t great, & sheets were scratchy. Perhaps worst of all, as travellers without roaming data, the wifi didn’t reach our room (which was only at the top of the stairs), making it difficult to contact loved ones at the end of the day. Wouldn’t be top of my list of places to stay again.

Hotel is well located close to the main sites, and the room was very good. The old part of the hotel has many stairs and hallways that can be a challenge when trying to find where you want to go, but that part of the hotel, plus the dining room, have a lot of old world charm. Everybody was friendly and helpful, the breakfast was great, and free parking was nice.

Das Hotel ist super zentral gelegen. Alles ist super gut zu Fuß zu erreichen. Der Parkplatz ist etwas schwerer zu erreichen. Aber nach einer kurzen Erklärung habe. Wir die Parkmöglichkeit gefunden. Da unser Flug verspätet war, haben wir unsere ursprüngliche Ankunftszeit nicht geschafft. Circa eine Stunde (nach ursprünglicher Ankunftszeit) hatte uns die freundliche Dame der Rezeption angerufen und freundlich nachgefragt, ob alles gut bei uns ist. Wir haben das als sehr freundlich und aufmerksam empfunden. Das einzige, was ich bemängeln könnte ist, dass es bei offenen Fenstern recht laut ist (da wir unser Zimmer zum Wintergarten hatten) und das Badezimmer etwas in die Jahre gekommen ist. Alles in allem hat uns das Hotel aber super gut gefallen und wir würden nochmal wiederkommen.
