「Staff were really helpful, position of the property was great for us and we really enjoyed it. It did need some repairs in a few areas which apparently are getting sorted. Overall I would certainly use the hotel again. Food was also v good.」

「It was like home from home environment, visiting family. The hose/owner was very friendly and helpful. I will definitely stay there again. I stayed In a single room which was just right and a shared bathroom. TV, single bed, wardrobe, sink and mirror, along with tea and coffee facilities. Breakfast was delicious.」

「My stay at the Mercure suited me perfectly. I was close to the train station so I could easily walk up & travel to Glasgow, and also have a pleasant stroll along the promenade. 「This is a hotel that is staffless, and has no front check in desk. It totally relies on technology for checking in and out, and that is a problem in an area with weak Wi-Fi. I would not stay again. We had a problem when we arrived with not having sheets, pillows, and blankets on a pull out bed gor my granddaughter and it took several hours of trying to contact a live person to get them to come to the "hotel", and fix the issue.
