"Here is the revised review with that added clearly and naturally: **Do not stay at this location.** We arrived in the evening and found the overall condition of the villa unacceptable. The unit was listed as a preferred/premiere room with upgrades, but it did not meet even basic cleanliness standards. There were three of us staying in the unit, and it only had one king bed and a pull-out couch. There was no bedding provided for the pull-out couch, so we called and asked for sheets to be delivered while we were out at a late dinner. When we returned, nothing had been delivered, so we had to call again. While waiting, we opened the pull-out bed and found stains, food debris, and small black specks that appeared to be insect droppings. We called the front desk to report it and asked about compensation for being unable to use a clean bed. We were told a manager would call us back after 8:00 a.m. We then inspected the king bed and found black specks on top of the mattress cover and a crusted substance on the comforter. At that point, we took the sheets that were finally delivered, removed the comforter, and used the thin sheet provided so that all three of us could sleep in the same bed. The next day, after looking more closely at the room, we found a bloody footprint stain on the living room carpet and a bloody handprint on the inside of the front door. That was the final straw. "This resort is exquisite. It is located directly on the beach but also seems like it is in a jungle or Forest. The property is extremely well maintained and the staff was exceptional. We were given a room that we weren't exactly pleased with and they were able to accommodate our needs and provide us with a different room. We loved being able to walk around the property with our small child. I would come back anytime."
