「My room had a weird scent then I saw a hole under the sink, which I believe that goes to the sewers. Other than that, the room served its purpose.」

「Staff are friendly and attentive but the overall state of the hotel leaves something to be desired. Lots of areas need maintaining, the elevators were consistently out of order and the breakfast bar was consistently out of various items.」

「They had a large fridge in the room. Air was ok in the room but the entire rest of the hotel wreaked of cigarette smoke and I could hardly breathe. Bathroom fan and air conditioner fan made loud clanging noises.」

「The front staff (William) was absolutely amazing! We had an issue with the AC in one of our rooms and he was professional and so helpful! The rooms were very clean, the hot-tub did have some peeling, and there are no USB ports in the room (bring an adapter).」

「Older property, given there are newer hotels in the area, would definitely choose differently as the cost was more. Pool is small and I wish it was self serve for their breakfast.」

「We had a fantastic stay at Microtel! We booked the suite and loved the use of the kitchen and the extra space. The pool was fantastic, except that the bottom of it was super rough and all of the kids got scrapes on it every time they swam. My one major complaint is with the breakfast. Yes they had food, but nothing great. They had one waffle iron that was very slow and backed everything up. No pancakes. On the weekend they removed the waffle maker and replaced it with eggos. There were never any...

「Very clean, comfortable room. The pool, hot tub and exercise room were clean and well maintained. Complimentary breakfast buffet with a variety of hot and cold foods was amazing! At check in was prompt friendly service with all facility information. Very impressed with all staff encountered! We will definitely reserve a room. at the Hampton Inn & Suites by Hilton Red Deer again! 」

「Very pleasantly surprised, this roadside motel is a real gem. Spotless and well maintained, our room looked recently renovated. The bed was comfy. Did need more blankets because they don't use comforters on the beds. A/C in room worked great. The bathroom was SO CLEAN! Highly recommend for the price point.」
