My husband and I always look forward to staying at Timberland Inn. The staff, rooms, location, and everything that they have to offer; are always wonderful. It’s our favourite getaway to press the refresh button from our daily life. Our restcation away from home.

We thought the brewery was nearby but this was not the case. For some reason, that is the theme of the hotel but there is nothing to do with beer other than a poster in our room. The spa tub was nice. It was evident the room had not been used in a long time and had not been checked on before our arrival from the couple of dead winter bugs on the floor in the bathroom. Also a few hairs stuck to the side of the sink. The couches were terrible and definitely need replacing. Nonetheless, this was a nice getaway. The ceilings made it feel cottagey, the view was nice from the top balcony. The balcony could have been cleaned too. Old pop can used as an ashtray was gross. 2 tvs was nice. There wasn’t enough coffee for the French press.

Cute place. Clean rooms. The people in the room above us were very noisy just even in their walking it came through to our room very loudly. The fan in the bathroom was noisy too sounded like a rocket about to take off. But otherwise beautifully scenic place to stay

Beautiful setting on a hillside overlooking the lake. Room was well appointed but not stuffy. Post & beam style interior. Linens were comfortable although the bed was a little firm for our liking. Outdoor steps to get to the rooms but it was fine for us.

The staff was friendly! The room was perfect ! High ceilings, lodge type style rooms. Pillows were comfortable, beds can get a pillow top. Rooms had blackout curtains, which are a bonus! Well salted stairs and walkways. Definitely recommend. I would be staying again.

Check-in time was 3 PM and we arrived a 2 PM to try and check in. We were told the rooms were not ready yet so we cam back just after 3 PM and checked in. We noticed, since it had been snowing all afternoon, no footprints in the snow to the rooms on the second level. That means there was nothing done to the rooms. Therefore we believe they are not truthful. Furthermore, checkout was 11:00 Am and they knocked on out door at 10:15 to start cleaning it. This was unbelievable given they wouldn't allow us to check in an hour early.

Very nice room. Quiet area but a bit noisy from ppl walking around in the room upstairs. Easy check in. Was not told to leave the key in the room. Tried to bring it to front desk but they were closed. So we had to drive back down to room and leave the key. Communication at check in could be better. Awesome coffee and French press was delicious
