Kenna Cartwright Nature Park Tours

You can hike up to 5km to get these breathtaking views. Not recommended for young kids.
Atop Mt. Dufferin at Kenna Cartwright Park. This mountain park is home to several trails some stretching over 10K in length. In the winter you will find mostly hikers and fat bikes cruising through the trails and in the summer it's shared between hikers and mountain bikers. There is a washroom located near one of the lookout points with a few scattered picnic tables and gazebos. This is a dog friendly park and is open year round.

Made it to the top of Mt. Dufferin this morning. So pooped but the view was incredible and so rewarding.

The path I took was the Ponderosa Trail (entrance by Home Depot parking lot). Then headed towards the tower trail which is at an Intermediate Level as it is a steep climb up for a portion of it.

Breath taking views await you at every turn and today I seen a bald eagle flying overhead. An exhilarating moment.

I started an outdoors group here in Kamloops so I went with a few new made friends.

The mountain has a few areas for a picnic and washrooms in various location throughout which is awesome.

The park is dog friendly with leash free areas for those who wish to travel with their furry companions. The tower is 890ft (approx 1200 feet) above sea level so it's a healthy climb that will make you sweat.

Best way to bring in the New Year! #snow
