「Genuinely friendly welcome and a very comfortable, clean room - all of which I needed after a long, hard day on the Pennine Way. Arrived too late to eat in the evening but breakfast was terrific. Would thoroughly recommend the Alma. 」

「We stayed in the Barn. The facility is just across the road from the main hotel. We found the room exceptionally clean, cosy, modern and a comfortable bed. Breakfast was superb. Evening meal was great too. Cannot fault it! 」
