Very friendly welcome from the staff and excellent food at breakfast in the evening. We enjoyed our stay in the family room and thought it was very good value for the price.
Our recent stay at The Old Silent Inn was simply magical—a truly perfect slice of Yorkshire country life! From the moment we arrived, we were charmed by this 400-year-old inn, which manages to blend historic character with comfortable, modern amenities.
The location is exceptional, nestled quietly just a short distance from Haworth, in the stunning Bronte Country. For walkers, it's an absolute dream, sitting right near the Pennine Way and only three miles from the historic village of Haworth and the famous Brontë Parsonage Museum.

Lovely part of the Yorkshire
Could be cleaner and needed updating. food was very good for money. Our room bathroom was very small a large person would struggle. Would we stay again no
Excellent place to stay . The old silent inn is a very nice rural area. Very nice rooms and excellent dining. The inn is clean and the staff are very friendly and look after you.
Would really recommend this place to stay.
Rooms were extremely cosy and clean.
Staff were all extremely helpful and friendly.
We had our tea here and breakfast both were excellent quality and delicious.
Really great location to get the bus into Haworth.
Honestly will be staying here again.
5* Inn, full of character and a really good bar.
Myself and my partner stayed here over Easter the staff were amazing so friendly and the food was amazing we enjoyed ourselves so much it is a lovely friendly place cannot fault anything there our room was so comfortable and lovely and clean
Old worlde B&B with lots of character and original features. Spacious double room with window seat and great views, kettle with tea and coffee/biscuits/bottled water. Clean bedding and towels.
Welcoming and friendly staff, good quality full breakfast.
This is a gem of a pub. The owners and staff are so welcoming and helpful. Great range of beers and excellent food. In a quiet location but close to a lot of places of interest. Ample free parking and great breakfast. Super pet friendly too.
Great food. Friendly staff. Mixed grill was big enough for 3 (2 humans and 1 dog!). Only disappointment was not seeing/hearing the ghosts in this historical pub!
Room was nice beds were very comfy but the toilet space was very cramped burned your leg on radiator as was so close to toilet sink quite small but the shower was nice
Connor was very obliging with everything The one breakfast we had was amazing and hot but had to leave early hours of second morning as our dog was unwell
Dinner we ate there was was lovely
Set in beautiful open countryside. Cosy, welcoming and clean. Our restaurant meal was excellent, fish & chips and blue burger.
Interesting history and intriguing 'coin tree'. Friendly staff. My grand daughter & I enjoyed our night's stay en route to Embsay Station for steam train ride. Would like to have stayed longer.

Mainly pleasant stay except for the miniscule shower room with no hand soap provided and only cold or lukewarm water from the shower. I asked the staff to look at the shower but they were unable to resolve this issue. Not fun for a whole week.
My wife and I had a delightful stay at the Old silent Inn. The people who work there are extremely friendly and pleasant. the food was very good.
Given that it is an old inn, it has loads of character, however this does mean that the room facilities are not as per modern day - the bathroom was 'Snug' and the water pressure was rather low. However, my wife and I were happy to accept this so we could enjoy the character of the place.
A fabulous little gem. The bar man even fixed my broken heel! Now that's going above and beyond. The lovely ladies even made
My dog his own sausage for breakfast. Beds were comfy. My only issue would be it's a little bit cold in places but it's a old building whose owners (not staff) need to give it a bit of TLC
The stay was over all ok. Our problem was the sink in our room, the plug got stuck in and silver surround around the plug was off, it was on the edge of sink. Water was very peaty abd looked dirty, didn't dare use it for drinking for ourselves or our dog.
Today the chef didn't know how to make poached eggs so had to pick alternative.
Overall the food and staff were good but thecwhole place needs an overhaul. Window pane seals gone, guttering needs repairing. Got doaked walking through yhe entrance from water gushing from guttering. Outside areas need a tidy up. Weeds everywhere. Dead flowers in hanging baskets from last year by the look of them.
Its the 3rd time we have stayed here but we think it will be our last unfortunately.
The room was clean and warm. The staff friendly, helpful and courteous. It was a shame that they didn’t have the fire going in the bar as the main bar and breakfast room were rather cold. It was a snowy few February days.
