"This place was a little peace of heaven. Such a special boutique hotel. From arrival to departure we were cared for above and beyond our expectations. Ocre gave us the warmest welcome and even took us on a nature walk of the area. The food was incredible, so fresh and full of flavour and we had the best 2 nights sleep we'd had on our trip. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts, we'll be back another time for sure!"

The experience began with a bait-and-switch room discrepancy, requiring us to negotiate and pay extra to receive the large family room we originally booked. The entire resort and bungalow area were dirty and unmaintained, suggesting the property is barely operating. Service was abysmal; staff appeared to be awakened for the late breakfast and...

"Travelled with my friend and we received a very warm welcome. The grounds of the hotel are gorgeous and beautifully kept. Our room was spacious and tranquil too. The food was wonderful and fresh. Our hosts were very kind to us. The hotel is located in the hills, with a spectacular drive up and it is hidden away, only adding to its serenity. A perfect place to relax after seeing sites around the area. "
