"We came from Nagano and had been staying at the Mercure Matsushino resort hotel, and it was terrible. The Hotel Rosso was such a relief, everything was new and clean and in good condition. "The staff were lovely. The hotel design was dated and no tattoos were allowed at the onsen however everyone has to still pay the onsen tax even if they are not allowed to use it due to tattoos. The restaurant was amazing and great food "
