The hotel itself is in the middle of town, very close to a night market with lots of interesting food options in walking distance. Although a little worn, the hotel itself is fairly clean and competent. The staff is the usual brusque approach common to Chinese areas. We stayed on the 8th floor and the wifi was generally unusable. Other than that, the rooms were fairly comfortable, hot water and comfy beddings. They will allow you to use their washing machine/dryer which is on the roof, controls on the machines are in Chinese and difficult to decipher. There is lots to do in the immediate vicinity of the hotel, very local area. Finally, the breakfast is odd for Western tastes.
