You get what you pay for
This is a no-frills (at all!) hotel in central Kaohsiung. The staff is friendly and eager (and very loud - screaming at you most of the time because she thinks you can understand Chinese if she speaks louder), but they have no English ability. I speak some Chinese and found it difficult to discuss things with the staff. Between Google Translate and messaging apps that translate, we made do. The room was lacking—very stiff/hard mattresses, very small. The AC was good and so was the water pressure, but I would not have been able to stay more than a couple of nights. I did not get to try the included breakfast. They did not service our room or even ask if we wanted/needed anything. So, that was a huge miss for me. They should at least consult on toiletries, towels, trash, and bottled water. We needed to contact the front desk for everything, every time. But the location is great. You are less than one block from the hub of public transit - Kaohsiung Main Station with MRT and Trains. And if you are up for it, you are within 20 minutes walk from many interesting sites. You get what you pay for at this property. I got a shower and toilet and a bed. Thankfully, it was only a two-night stay. Will I stay here again? Probably, but I will upgrade to a nicer, bigger room.

Considering the price and location, this hotel is excellent value. Sure it's seen better days as all hotels in this price bracket have, but my room was clean and comfortable.

Good location near kaohsiung Station
Good location near kaohsiung Station which comprises of kaohsiung mrt, train and high speed rail. Old Hotel that is still okay to stay for few days. Beakfast is provided, nice with brewing coffee.

The place is indeed nice
The place is indeed nice. I will still go back in here if I have to. Bathtub is an add on. For improvement, softer mattress would be great in addition to stable WiFi. For staying more than a day though, variation is breakfast will help.

Cheap hotel, but not very nice
The room didn't have any bugs or anything, but most things were broken. The window didn't close all the way, so the room would get very hot when the AC wasn't on. The shower was broken, so I fixed it myself. The bed was very very hard. I am a 25 year old man and I have slept in some uncomfortable places, and that bed was hard. Aside from that, it was fine. A bit dirty and drab, but not disgusting. I would probably stay there based on the cost alone, but you get what you pay for.

Nice hotel, convenience to major train station
Have to find a hotel close to station so to see relative in hospital after a stroke. This hotel is close to station, have all kind if eatery near by convenience to get back to airport. Breakfast daily was nice.

Front desk did not speak any English to assist us with directions. Very close to Kaohsiung station which makes getting around town convenient. Room was "all bed" and limited floor space but at least the bed was comfortable.

Great location, next to MRT and train station, bus station and smaller bus companies. Great for a base. Close to one of the main night markets (15 minute walk). Even though we requested a non-smoking room (which we got according to the sign), it was obvious someone had been smoking in it. Noise from the street is a bit much, so bring ear plugs. The breakfast was decent. Seems to be popular with tour groups, so you may want to book early. Hotel was a bit run down, but they were in the middle of renovating it

The hotel is close to the Train Station.
The lobby of the hotel is inviting, staff didn't greet us upon entry. The front desk staff had difficulty finding our reservation and didn't indicate any problems until asked. They were respectful.

Beware that the ocation of this hotel is at San Ming district and not Feng Shan district as shown by google map. Apparently there was a hotel also call Nice Hotel at Feng Shan district but no longer there.

1泊しましたが、本当に最悪な経験をしました。 ホテルの朝食を食べて部屋に戻ると、男性の掃除員の方が掃除している場面遭遇したのですが、勝手に荷物を漁られていました。 友人のバックを開け洗濯ネットをも開けて下着を漁っている所を目撃しました。 幸運にも貴重品は無事です。 ホテルに事実を訴え、すぐにチェックアウトしましたが、既に2泊分支払っていたものの1泊分しか返金されません。 他にも ・室内からは鍵がかけられない ・室内に小バエと蚊が大量にいる ・シャワーでお湯が出ない、水圧も弱い ・壁とドアが薄いので音が丸聞こえ ・部屋も古い汚い狭いの三拍子 ・空のボトル等のゴミが部屋に落ちている などなど、気になる点が多くありました。 他にも、部屋全体がホコリっぽく、ホコリアレルギー持ちの方はしんどいと思います。 無料で朝食が付いていますが、朝食はまぁまぁです。衛生が気になる方には向かないかもしれません。 オススメはしませんが、もしも泊まるのなら "掃除は頼まないこと" "部屋に鍵がないのでせめてドアロックをかける" "荷物を棚に隠すなど管理をしっかりする" ことを強くおすすめします。 もうここには泊まりません。

部屋が臭かったが窓を開けて換気扇を回して対応しました。ドアが薄いので廊下の話し声が良く聞こえます。廊下に出ると他の部屋の人のいびきが聞こえました。近くに弁当屋やコンビニがあり便利でした。朝６時４０分の台東行きに乗るため朝食はコンビニでパンとコーヒーを買ったのでホテルの朝食は食べていません。土曜日なのに安く泊まれて良かったです。

駐車場がない。こちらが提案しないと話が続かないし、問題解決しない。教えられた場所に駐車場がなく、道が狭い・一方通行なども教えてくれない。駐車場の通りは一方通行。右折と左折を間違って伝えられる。ホテルスタッフ対応として、いかがなものか？ 結局、近くに警察署があったのでそこで聞いて解決。 朝食も写真とは違い、受付カウンターでみそ汁風汁物と何かを渡されただけ。

良いところも良くないところも
外出時に鍵を預けないと清掃してもらえなかった。 チェックイン時に説明されず、注意書きも無かったので… 念の為、翌日は鍵を預けて「清掃をお願いします」と口頭でも伝えたらOKでした。 風呂場の下水の臭いがひどいので、蚊除け芳香剤を近所のスーパーで買ってきて置いたら少しマシに感じました。 部屋は広くて窓を開けることができます。眺望も良し。 ベッドも冷蔵庫も鏡も机も大きくハンガーも複数ありました。ベッドは硬めです。 無料朝食は地下のスペースで。お粥のトッピングが豊富でした。その他お惣菜の味は…。 翌日からは外の朝食店に行きました。 駅近でバス停が目の前にある立地と、値段の安さに満足です。 ホテルはシャワー浴びて寝るだけと割り切ったら納得できると思いました。

良くも悪くも“海外地方都市の普通の古いホテル“と言った処。 ◯利点 ・駅から近い ・Wi-Fiは普通に繋がる ◯欠点 ・暑い地域の立地なのに電源カードが1枚しか支給されない ・電源コンセントのポートが少ない。而も部屋で使える6ポート中2ポートは110V仕様のため日本仕様のITデバイスが充電すら出来ない（街の電気屋さんに行って電源タップを購入しました） 。 ・シャワーはホースが折れ曲がっていて湯の出が悪い。又、シャワーカーテンすら無い。
