I LOVED my stay at Kandy Hub Guest House. It's not in the city, so you'll need a car to get there as it's a bit hard to find. The distance was totally worth it to me for the views, affordability, and attentive, friendly, and helpful staff. I really enjoyed the rooftop breakfast too. The room was very clean and comfortable. The only issue I had was that the bathroom had some webs and a spider when I came in. The employee I spoke with was very receptive when I asked him to help me remove them, and I think that this should be an easy problem for them to fix in advance in the future. One thing to be aware of: Because the place is in nature, there are some animal noises that can wake you up early in the morning. This wasn't an issue for me because I had to be up early anyway, and it was part of the experience of being in such a special location.
