Small, very basic rooms
"Lovely balcony overlooking the river but that's about it. The room was very small with no furnishings other than a shelf. The paint was peeling off the floor and would stick to the soles of our feet. No hot water in the shower either. I would class this as a budget hotel."

"I love staying at this hotel. Very peaceful and the staff can’t do enough for you. The main swimming pool is beautiful and clean, the walk along the river Kwai is lovely. The breakfast is amazing. I’ve stopped here a couple of times now and I will definitely be returning again."

Jun 16, 2019This town is for those who have an interest in history and WW2. I came to research and meet museum directors to gather research information to take back to the classroom. Mission accomplished and will return next year.

May 17, 2019I came here for the war history and was delighted with it. Transportation is an issue. I went online and found a bus from the Minibus station in Bangkok (20 minutes from airport) for US$6.30. I hired a private driver for the return for 2000 Baht.
