Rustic tranquility! A great place to chill out, especially on the lawn watching the sun set over the jungle beyond the river. A short 10min walk to shops, 7-11, clothing & jewelry market and then the bridge to watch the spectacle of a slow moving deep throated growling train move between tourists taking snaps. This hotel has charm and atmosphere, we will return again.

Probably the nicest bed I have slept in on this vacation. Only one electrical outlet in the room, shared with the mini fridge and television set, so if you have any electronics to charge, you take turns. Bathroom is nice but the water shuts down at times and you wait a few minutes for it to return. This motel is a hundred metres to the Kwai River and it’s a ten minute walk to the bridge.

Bamboo house is a unique stay. Family owned and run. The little house is on 'floats' directly on the river. When a boat comes past it gently rocks. It is a very simple Thai stay, with amazing views and hospitality. Breakfast is cooked by mama and is simple and delicious. Great location for the river Kwai bridge and JEATH museum. We would definately recommend and return.

The bamboo houses were interesting and nice to experience with a small sitting area outside each house. Many other guests also were enjoying the experience at night sitting and chatting. 雰囲気はすごく良いです！近くにコンビニもあり、ベッドもダブルベッドサイズで良いです！ 強いて言うならトイレはオケで流すところと、シャワーが水しか出ません。これもタイ文化と考えれば良い経験かもしれません。

The location is beautiful on the river. The bamboo huts were great, the place had a lovely feel to it. A short walk up onto the main road and you could flag down a tuk tuk to head to the bars and restaurants. Breakfast was basic and did not vary for the 4 days we were there, but for the price you coukd not complain.

Très bel endroit proche du pont de la rivière Kwai

Chambre flottante sur la rivière avec une vue magnifique. Les matelas sont un peu sommaires et l'espace vite rempli notamment si vous faites rajouter un matelas. L'accueil est assez peu aimable, mais sinon le personnel (jardin, restaurant) attentif et souriant. La salle de bain et les toilettes sont à proximité des cabanes et propres. Attention, il n'y a qu'un ventilateur dans la chambre, donc il peut vite faire très chaud. Mais dormir avec le bruit des grenouilles et des oiseaux reste magique (un peu moins la fête sur l'autre rive jusqu'à tard sans la nuit (1 soir sur les 2 passés dans cet hôtel). Très proche du pont de la riviere Kwai et d'un magasin d'alimentation. Un très bon restaurant au bout du chemin et pas cher du tout. Nous n'avons pas testé celui de l'hôtel. Nous recommandons donc pour le cadre, mais un peu moins pour l'accueil.

We stayed in a camping cabin floating on the water's edge overlooking the River Kwai and the "Bridge over the River Kwai". The hotel was a cheap and cozy family hotel with a quiet garden. Friendly staff and good breakfast. There are good dining options in Kanchanaburi City. Fun to watch the train ride across the bridge and highly recommend taking a boat trip on the river.

Bonne expérience

Nous sommes restés seulement une nuit pour visiter le pont de la rivière Kwai et les chutes d'Erawan. La guesthouse est très bien placée (à 10 min du pont). Notre chambre était littéralement sur la rivière, donc vraiment agréable.

Ruhiges hotel in guter Lage

Wir hatten den river view Raum das Bambus Häuschen war sehr schön idyllisch und mit gutem Blick auf den Fluss des weiteren gab es schöne sitzmöglichkeiten auf unserer Terrasse und im Garten. Im Badezimmer war das nötigste vorhanden kein Komfort Hotel aber ein sehr schöner Aufenthalt. Das Frühstück hingegen war miserabel. Aber dafür hatte das Hotel eine gute Lage max. 10fußminuten zur River Kwai Bridge und gute ausgehmöglichkeiten alles in allem ein schönes Wochenende
