"All was lovely. The staff were pleasant. Typical Javanese Breakfast of rice, noodles, tempeh and coffee was good. The room was nice and location was on a quite Street just off of Ijen with several local restaurants nearby. We were hoping to extend our stay for a week but the WiFi was nonexistent and we could not get cell service in the room. WiFi worked okay in the lobby just outside but because of this we found another hotel just around the corner."

"Property was very dated, desperately needs renovation. Pool area is cute and breakfast had decent options. The bedroom and bathroom were unclean, with stains, dust and just generally old and not comfortable. "

"Room Airconditioning is not cold for the entire stay. At breakfast, table setting is not set only empty table. Food variation is very limited and the food has too much of pepper."

The bad: we could hear so much noise outside, from the rain, to other guests walking past or talking outside, to crying children in the middle of the night. "We booked a room for 4 people on Expedia which had good reviews and a high rating, but when we arrived it was a 12 bedded dorm which we would not have booked. We emailed the property for clarification but we did not get a response.We feel we were not given what we asked for. On the website it stated that there was a 4 bedded room available but not a 3 bedded room or 2 bedded room. So we felt there were only 4 beds in a room. Could you explain how this has happened? It was noisy and very dirty...
