Beware though, there are monkeys in the woods and they come out in the warm late afternoon. "This hotel is a giant log house, situated in a beautiful street of similar buildings. Nothing beats waking up to fresh snow falling outside your window (massive glass windows) and sipping on a hot cup of tea. The room was very cosy and comfortable! I had the best sleeps here. After a hard day of snow boarding, coming back to just sit in front of the fire, watch the snow fall, have a bath or have drinks with friends in the common area was absolutely amazing!! Wish I never had to leave! 10/10!!!! "

"A beautiful tucked away spot in Hakuba! The surrounding forest was nice to get away from the hustle and bustle of the main resorts. About 15min walk to Goryu or they can take you in the shuttle. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed and accommodated for, also a lovely spot focusing around keeping your dogs happy and taken care of. Spacious cabin feel and a decent restaurant with some nice options :) I would recommend this to anyone visiting in the winter or summer"

"We had a wonderful stay at this hotel! From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the warm welcome, friendly staff, and overall atmosphere. Our room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained, with everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The location was convenient, just a block away from the train station, making it very easy to explore. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay pleasant, and their attention to detail really stood out. We truly enjoyed our time here and would happily stay again.
