"I had stayed here for my honeymoon and initially everything was great. The service and the room was fine. However, during my first night we found cockroaches in our room. Obviously we were understanding that we were in Thailand but regardless of that, there shouldn't be cockroaches in our room, because it makes the experience feel dirty. We made a complaint regarding this, and they offered to change our room. However, they could not provide us with a room that offered the same privacy as the previous one, where the private pool was fully covered and protected by walls apart from the front. Instead, the forced us into another room and gave us a complimentary breakfast to keep us quiet. After requesting a partial refund to make up for our first night of our honeymoon being disturbed, they said we aren't owed anything since they moved us and offered us breakfast. Absolutely abysmal service. Would not recommend."

"We had an incredible stay at Marin Hotel Kamala and couldn't recommend it more. The amenities are fantastic, and the breakfast buffet was a highlight—truly versatile with options to suit every palette. Pro Tip on Rooms: We highly recommend booking a Pool View Room over the pool access/walk-out rooms. It felt like a much better setup for privacy and overall vibe. The location is unbeatable. It’s a very short walk to the beach and about a 10-15 minute stroll to the main strip, where you’ll find plenty of accessible shops and great places to eat. There are also several inexpensive laundry options right nearby, which was super convenient. Of all the beaches we visited during our trip, Kamala Beach was easily our favorite. The sand is lovely, and the vendors are incredibly friendly without being pushy. It’s the perfect balance of lively and relaxing. We will definitely be back!"

"Excellent property located in a quite corner of the beach. The breakfast was excellent with great patio dinnig tables on the beach. The room is clean and modern. Pika and Top were excellent breakfast hosts in line with the best restaurants in the world. 800 m walk along the beach to the commercial area with great shops and restaurants. Some rooms have a challenging access to the beach and front end."
