"Excellent condo-like home (LR, dining area, full kitchen, laundry, large bedroom and two bathrooms). 18 two story buildings a bit packed together. Pools, fitness center, play areas. A bit far from nearest beaches. Generous parking. Not inexpensive but, for us, well worth the cost."

"The Royal Kona was great, peaceful rooms, nice restaurants and cool entertainment and all within walking distance of shops and restaurants. The lagoon on the property was a unique experience as well "

"The ocean was visible from my room which was the best part of the room. The toilet creaked and the seat would slide off. The tub needs to be redone. During the daytime I was inside the room there was slow construction going on for the new restaurant. My stay was not relaxing because of the constant noise. Apparently this hotel has been under construction for years so this is a constant issue if you want daytime quiet. The food options here are lacking and over priced. Once Dukes opens it’ll be an improvement. Kids running around the slide area without parental supervision. I got food poisoning from the main restaurant here my first night. The stores here are double the cost of what you can get at the local market or ABC store. That’s a big convenience fee. I unfortunately met a few unfriendly staff. There is no access to the beach from this hotel. I would not recommend staying here."

"Our stay was not at all as described. We thought we were getting an ocean view with laundry. Instead we had to cross a road for both a view and laundry. Will not return or recommend."
