"Very nice hotel, and staff were very kind. Only negative was hotel could use some upgrades, namely the bathrooms. Just average. The rooms didn’t have any drawers for clothes, so ended up using the extra bed as a storage drawer. Lots of free water and snacks, fruits, etc. morning breakfast was very nice, and dining/pool area was very therapeutic. You can walk to everywhere with lots of dining and shopping options. "Family-run guesthouse. Polite and friendly (very little English spoken). On a quiet backstreet. Room was very clean, but small (no wardrobe or storage space). Rather expensive (GBP 22 per night, THB 1,000) by Thai standards compared to other similar guesthouses. Location quite far from main tourist area, so need to borrow a bicycle or rent a scooter to get around. Not much nearby in the way of restaurants etc. Hard pillows."
