"Good A/C, nice sized room. Appreciated the "larger" mini frudge and coffee maker in the room. Very helpful woth local resources and advice on best travel routes. Got to see a mother howler monkey nursing her baby in the tree just adjacent to the room. Room walls are concrete, so couldn't hear anything from adjacent rooms. Much more serene atmosphere than the hectic pace and crowds in Nosara and Guiones beach areas. Would definitely stay again. Thank you, Louie for wonderful hospitality."

"We had a horrible experience before coming to this place so we were extraordinarily happy to find a clean location. This place is brand new so it’s very clean and wonderful. The only thing I would say is that if you’re planning a big visit to Tamarindo stay at this place in 2027 and check that the construction is finished. They are currently building a club and pool area on the beach across from the rooms that we stayed at. If you stay before 2027 and you want a pool, they are offering for you...

"If you're in the area, I cannot recommend Conchal enough. It's a gorgeous little boutique hotel with a small number of rooms, which makes the experience feel less cookie-cutter. The staff are incredible, & the space itself looks exactly like the pictures - full of greenery & wildlife, & the pool is perfect. Things to note if you plan on staying here: - It's not a luxury hotel, but the staff will give you luxury hotel service. - The hotel itself is right off a main road, so you WILL hear traffic...

"While the staff was amazing and the property was very beautiful, the roads to get to the hotel were not paved. Not only were they not paved but at some point they (local government) closed the entrance and no one was notified. It took me contacting the hotel so the concierge could walk us through how to get to the hotel. It was not until two days later when I complained that we received a letter and a map. This was not well planned with the city. Very disappointing."
