「Very warm welcome and nice huts In a really wild part of South Africa. Excellent and generously portioned food. Only downside is the drive to get there; the property is a good hour of dirt track off the main road and the drive is hairy. It should be only recommended for people work a utility or 4wd. 」

「We had an amazing stay at The Fernery. What makes this place amazing is the surroundings - overlooking the gorge and forest is nothing short of spectacular. The hot tubs and jacuzzis were incredible and we also made use of the spa which was wonderful too. The ladies there are fantastic. We thought the restaurant food was excellent and the staff serving there are great too.」

「Room was large, bed comfortable and everything clean. Breakfast cooked to order was great and each of the staff were very welcoming」

「Nice facility, although it may s quite old, 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms. There is a wood stove which they provided wood for and it warmed the place up quite nicely. The kitchen could be better stocked if you were to stay there for a few days but it has the basics. I would stay again if in the area.」
