This property encompasses a group of very nicely decorated mint century modern bungalows some with excellent views particular units, M & L. The units are nicely decorated with comfortable well equipped kitchens. The area around the bungalows is part of a larger complex dedicated to alternative philosophy, which can be difficult to navigate with your car at night. The location is central to downtown Joshua tree and not far from Yucca. The west entrance to the national park is only 15 minutes away. The bungalows have a nice hot pool and cold plunge pool, which is however, a long walk from the bungalows. Overall, an interesting and choice for an overnight or two in Joshua tree.

We loved staying here! The room was wonderful and we got takeout from the cafe and ate on our patio overlooking a beautiful view with Joshua trees. The pool and hot tub were lovely and no one else was there. There are trails to walk among the Joshua trees and an ideal overlook. It’s expensive but we splurged to stay for a concert there. The amphitheater is a gorgeous place for a show. Highly recommend and hope to go back if there are special rates sometime!

Absolutely beautiful property. The suites are spacious and convenient with the kitchen and dining and living areas. The location feels very intimate and secluded and Joshua Tree and major shopping areas are just a short drive away.

Stylish, Peaceful, and Perfectly Located We loved our romantic stay at The Bungalows by Homestead Modern. The décor was chic and modern with a cool desert vibe, and everything was spotless. We enjoyed cooking in the well-equipped kitchen and relaxing outdoors by the fire pit and under the stars. The location was ideal—close to Joshua Tree National Park and both downtown Joshua Tree and Yucca Valley. Staff were super responsive via text. Highly recommend for a stylish and peaceful desert getaway!

The bungalow we rented was immaculate. The kitchen had everything we needed. The bed was comfortable and the area surrounding the bungalow is beautifully landscaped. The area is quiet and peaceful. There were dozens of hummingbirds and birds every morning enjoying the flowers!

Relaxing and peaceful

Very peaceful and serene environment - the room and the grounds. Didn’t hear a single other guest although we know we had “neighbors”. It was a perfect relaxing place to stay for a weekend getaway.
