"We were upgraded to a beautiful suite. The reception was very helpful and because we had 1/2 board we even had dinner in the room.Breakfast had a nice selection and wasn’t crowded or noisy at all. The I would have liked different pillows and a little softer bed but the room was awesome! "We stayed at Tent Arenal with our family, including our children, during our trip to S'Arenal. I have to say that the service was excellent. The staff were incredibly friendly, helpful, and welcoming, which made our stay truly enjoyable. They really went above and beyond, and we are very grateful for their hospitality. The only downside is that I don't think this hotel is particularly suitable for families with children. During the high season, there are many German and Dutch guests, and unfortunately some of them behave quite poorly. There was a lot of drinking, loud shouting, and noise late at night and again early in the morning, which was disturbing for families trying to sleep. Fortunately, the wonderful staff made our stay worthwhile despite this. One suggestion for improvement would be to enforce the no-smoking policy more strictly. Smoking is not allowed around the pool area, but some guests ignored the rule without being reminded, which affected the experience for others."

"This was most definitely a 5* trip for my family. The hotel is beautiful, the setting, the bedrooms, the pool area, the ambience, the restaurants...... A great place for a relaxing stay. A car was essential and getting around was easy. I'm not sure I would do my main summer holiday there for fear of the kids getting bored of the pool area and not being near the beach but that's a personal preference. I highly recommend a trip to the Zoetry if you're thinking about it. The only negative is the service, it's slow and quite often drinks are forgotten about and food takes very long. Fine for adults but kids can get a bit twitchy. They have a QR code facility for ordering drinks around the pool, it worked maybe 50% of the time. They claim the order didn't go through but when you submit the order you can hear the chime at the bar so not sure I always received an honest excuse for the lack of drinks. More of an annoyance than anything else which is why I stick to my 5* rating."
