Lord Baltimore Hotel

"The hotel was priced just right for the 4th of July holiday weekend and we were able to access all the amenities easily. The staff was helpful and provided guidance on the most efficient way to utilize all amenities and made certain we understood the needs to have a successful stay. Parking was not easily accessible and quite pricey, but we made do of what was available. Overall, the stay was excellent."

"Hotel is VERY nicely decorated and maintained. The ambiance is nice and the hotel fragrance is great. It was easy to get in and out and park in the adjacent garage. The staff was friendly and the two restaurants on site had delicious food and drinks! Our room was renovated, cleaned and the beds with pillows were very comfortable! I slept GREAT and that doesn’t always happen at hotels. This was a RELAXING stay! There was a lounge chair and a desk chair comfortable enough for doing light work or an extra place for the kids to sit and eat. Only things for the actual room that I would add are to change out to fully blackout shades since the current shades did not fully cover the width of the windows so the moon and light shined through, redo the toilets because it seemed kind of small and slow to flush completely, plus the shower heads were new but someone forgot to put plumbers glue and it was leaking, label all the lights so that we know which ones to use for the individual areas, plus I would include slippers, robes, and area rugs since its luxury vinyl plank, and some plastic to go utensils. As far as amenities, the pool should be heated instead of just the room to avoid being cold. The area is nice because you can walk to some shops or drive to the nearby shops which makes the location very convenient. The room also had a lot of chargers just need your own cables. I’ve stayed here a few times and it’s always been a pleasure so THANK YOU!"

Pier 5 Hotel Baltimore

"Well it was good overall. But the room pictured online was different from a deluxe king balcony we were in. Not a corner room as shown in picture. So I called the desk and they said a corner room if available. Looked and none available.It is random? We paid more for a balcony for fireworks because of mobility issues. Our view was a building and small section of the harbor to the left on balcony. But not a clear view of fireworks. We had to go outside anyway. Plus weather was 100+ everyday so the metal balcony chairs and table were too hot to use. Bed was comfortable ,TV nice and big unlike description. They do advertise on their Pier 5 website a free happy hour from 4-6 and there was none. Also free cookies 2-4 there was none. No one there when we arrived. Ate at Mcormick and Shmidt for lunch, it was good. I would return if I could get the better room view?"
