"Loved our stay here! Everyone was so nice! Would definitely stay here again. Only downfall was the beach bar was closed and we were not made aware of this issue. They said they had a runner but we only saw him once and they never came over to us. All of the ice machines didn’t work so you had to go up to the hotel to get ice. They also didn’t have enough loungers and umbrellas so we had to bring them down from our room. Other than those things I would stay here again and just be more prepared to not be waited on. If you want a stay with more hospitality I would stay elsewhere. Location was prime & we were so close to everything!"

"Property was lovely, large pool plenty of loungers. Beach is 20 minute drive away. Designated shuttle times. Not convenient at all. Shuttle driver will not allow you to sit on the bus more than 5 minutes before scheduled departure from beach so you are asked to line up in heat while the driver sits in the bus…. Obligatory gratuity service fees daily added as well as mandatory 17% gratuity on every service and bill. Housekeeping was hit and miss but always ready to help when asked."

"Everything was exceptional. The most relaxing place I've ever visited. All of the staff - reception, Concierg, restaurant, housekeeping, bell hops, valet, pool attendants - were extremely pleasant and very helpful, quick to assist with anything we needed. Many of the staff had recommendations for activities or sights to see when we asked, and we took several of their suggestions and had a great time! The Concierge team was especially helpful in procuring and arranging transportation and restaurant reservations. The room was spacious and luxurious, the pool was clean and well maintained, and the private beach access was spectacular. We were so pleased throughout our entire stay we are already planning to return next year! A big shout out and thank you to The Loren staff for giving us a memorable stay."

"The room was beatifully decorated and the kitchennette allowed for me to prepare many of my own meals. I had a slight leak behind my toilet which was fixed very quickly after I called the Front Desk. The information sheet on local restaurants, ordering groceries and the island in general was useful and clearly presented. I appreciated the instructions on using the TV. The ferry across the Harbour allowed me to explore Hamilton without worrying about having to pay for parking (I am local and have a car), although the long break in the middle of the day was a bit frustrating. The shuttle to the Coco Reef private beach is also really useful. I found the posted rules about the pool being open til sunset and under 12's use restricted to specific hours a little strange. However, I didn't see these being strictly enforced. My room WAS far from the lobby with lots of steps and there was no help getting my luggage to the room. I am local, so perhaps if I were a foreign tourist more help would have been offered. The Aurora restaurant experience was amazing the food was tasty and well presented and staff was pleasant and attentive. I but was a bit disappointed that my birthday was not mentioned at all, other birthday staycations both local and abroad the Front Desk wishes me a happy birthday, or there's a note or something in the room acknowledging it. I also mentioned it when I checked in. Overall I was very happy with my stay at Newstead and will return as a treat to myself soon."
