"A solid, affordable option if you are planning to bike, hike, explore the Adirondacks. Beds are comfortable and room amenities serviceable. Walls are a little thin but in general everything is clean and well maintained. Farmers market with café very close on same side of road. The Wilde Center close enough for walk or bike to, or a quick 10 min drive."

"Although Dax Cabins are a work in progress, we had a great stay. We arrived early and the owner/manager was very accomodating, getting us into our room. Our party of four were in a deluxe cabin with two queen beds. The room was small but adequate. It was updated and very clean. The bathroom was tiny but beautifully remodelled. The location is great - especially if headed to the Wild Center. Overall very pleased with our stay."

"Fabulous lake view. Lovely kayaking and swimming. Spacious, comfortable accommodations. Several canoes and kayaks with paddles and lifejackets to choose from. Fishing popular too. Owners very friendly and helpful with local attractions."
