"We did not realize that dinner and breakfast was not included even though it said kaiseki meal in the description. One of the nearby restaurants was closed and the other would not seat foreigners. The staff did offer to call us a taxi to take us to a restaurant 10 minutes away, but we ended up eating snacks from the hotel store for dinner. Luckily we were able to add on breakfast the following morning. But our room was wonderful, staff was helpful, and the property was gorgeous."

"Amazing stay - couldn’t recommend more. The staff are incredibly attentive and helpful, the hotel is set in a beautiful location and the entire experience is flawless. The food is excellent as well, although it’s worth noting that both the dinner and breakfast are very generous meals - best not to eat too much beforehand! "We enjoyed our stay at the Mitsui Garden Hotel Kanazawa. It’s within 15-20mins walking distance of all Kanazawa’s main sites, and the hotel’s onsite onsen is great - especially after a long day sightseeing. The staff were kind and the breakfast was great. The only criticism is the check-in process - they made all clients wait until 1500 on the dot to check-in regardless of whether rooms were ready or not. If I could give a score for check-in, it would be very low. Other than that, I’d recommend this hotel for your stay in Kanazwa. "
