「The Kings Head is a nice quaint hotel/ pub in Masham. However there were a few issues with the property. There were a few cobwebs in our room and I don’t think that is acceptable, especially in a family room or any other tbh. However, the thing that irked me the most was that when we arrived at the hotel we were advised that we could only go for dinner at 8pm as 7 and 7.30 were full. This was ok for us but when we arrived at the restaurant at 8pm we stood for some time and were ignored. When...

「On arrival could have done with better signage as to where to park as we ended up parking at Forbidden Corner. Also not easy to find Reception and when we did find there was no-one there for 10 mins. Room nice, dressing gown and slippers nice touch. 「Lovely place to stay. Was just the two of us. We would say 2nd bedroom is suitable for children rather than infants or adults, due to steep stairs, and layout of the room. Teenagers would love it I'd imagine. Only thing that let it down slightly was the small seating area outside. Just needs a little TLC. A quick sweep out would have helped. Other than that Masham and this property well worth visit, if maybe slightly over priced.」

「On arrival after a long day's hiking, I was told I'd been upgraded and was shown to a fantastic cottage at the side of the hotel. A beautiful place with a large garden and a fantastic view over the dales.」
