Superficially: Great decor and location within a short stroll of the Western Wall and the markets
Accommodations: Threadbare towels, flooding shower, nowhere to store toiletries in bathroom, major electrical panel prominent in room, T-bar ceiling, tv could rip your shoulder walking by it in narrow passage space, tiny door, inner door (weird unless it was once a utility area, see below) missing but hinges still on door frame, room safe box sitting unattached to anything in plain view and light enough to grab and go, room needed significant patching and painting, many visibly obvious maintenance hatches in walls and floor, poor view, through small window, was probably a utility room before they thought to monetise it. So elf-involved staff make you feel that they're doing you favors just for basics. Roof: deck, bar and pool all closed. Brekky restaurant isn't kosher though they don't let you know until staff hopefully says something when you get there (lucky we opted out when reserving) and not even grape juice available for Sabbath. Glad to be leaving.
Stayed in the other Brown nearby years ago and loved it. Never returning to this one; It's worth half the price we paid, maybe.
