I selected this property out of the 5 similar rated hotels in the area due to the free parking, free breakfast buffet, and closeness to NYC. The room was big enough to move around, had a nice small kitchen area with full fridge, microwave, 2 burner cooktop, and decent size sink. Shower was good size with great water pressure and hot, hot water..!! Used the average size gym which could have had more equipment, but made do with what was there. Just realize when going from Jersey into NYC you will have to pay the steep toll each tiime...no way to avoid the toll wether bridge or tunnels..!! We enjoyed our stay and the great value compared to NYC hotels...don't trust other hotels when they say "parking available"..!! Do further research..!!

Everything was great with the exception of one thing. My son got sick in the room and we had to check out early and the staff was MIA. Otherwise the property was great. The breakfast was amazing and there were places to eat right outside the hotel.

This was by far the worst hotel we have ever stayed at in the USA. First of all the parking was limited nearby the property, the drain was clogged inside the bathroom where the water backup for about 10 minutes before it went down, the safe didn't work. The room wasn't cleaned properly before we arrived and the so called sofa bed gave nothing more but serious back pains the next morning. Never recommending this hotel to anyone. Please review your options prior to booking.

The reception staff were treating us as if we were asking them for free accommodation, in an impolite manner. In addition, when paying, they did not inform us about the deposit issue.

Overall great stay with excellent service but the pullout bed was not remotely comfortable. Staff was very friendly and helpful with directions, extra towels and stashing our bags for a few hours after checkout while we enjoyed one more local site.

We stayed for 3 nights including christmas eve . I did not saw a chriatmas tree there. Many families with kids. The breakfast was to poor and crowed . We hardly found a place to sit after 20min waiting. The location was good it takes 40min to NYC. There was a starbucks and restaurants near. Parking was free.

This is a good place I recommended if you want to visit NewYork. There is bus 320 close the hotel,$4.25/person each 15 mins. The room is good, sofa bed is also good for two; Just shower is little worse. Others are ok,no complaints.

Well to start with the TV was not working but was fixed immediately by the house engineer. Huge leak in the entrance area which the girl on duty could not handle. General indifferent attitude of staff, Not busy and empty. Staff more often than not at the front desk. I will go back to the Residence at Port Imperial going forward.

Right outside New York City not too far out. There’s a bus that goes directly from the hotel to Port authority so it’s convenient. Staff were amazing was able to check in early and check out late. The room itself was bigger than expected, clean and had lots of mirrors. Only thing I would say is the cabinets could use a bit of an upgrade and on the last day someone got stuck in the elevator so the alarm kept going off in the morning but other than that everything was good. I would book again!

No complaints whatsoever. The property is clean and easily accessible with parking available for rental cars and easy access to New Jersey busses for knocking about in New Jersey, Manhattan, or further afield. It is also in close proximity to shopping and dining within walking distance. The breakfast is not bad at all and staff is pleasant. Definitely recommended for longer stays.

Hotel was ok. Breakfast was great-tons of options. Parking was tight but area was great. We were able to walk to restaurants and stores. Room was ok, nothing special. Fairly clean. I would stay again

Very friendly staff, clean, amazing breakfasts and good connection to New York. Bus stop is just 5 mins walk away from the hotel. We also used pool and the gym (gym is open 24/7). I recommend thos hotel!

No shuttle… $60 ride each way
The description included that the hotel had a free airport shuttle. This is NOT true. It was $60 each way to and from the Newark airport. The elevator was also dirty and it looked like someone had spilled their breakfast all over it. The couch was missing a pillow and one of the throw pillows had a broken zipper. However the bed was comfortable and the bathroom was clean.
