"Perfect as a basecamp for hiking in the area. Room was very spacious with adequate lighting. Everything very clean. Park right up to the room. It sits back away from the main road so was quiet also. Will definitely stay here again when in the area. Convenient to gas, food, etc. Even the minifridge was a good size with the largest freezer compartment I’ve seen at any hotel/motel (I bring cooler with freezer packs so was nice to be able to refreeze them). "

"Great stop over on way to DC….room impeccably clean, beds comfortable, bed linens clean and crisp, front desk and breakfast staff very helpful and friendly. Appreciated the water, coffee and fresh fruit upon checking in….will definitely return on future trips to DC."

"I’ve never had a problem before… this time was horrible!!! Couldn’t go swimming the night we got there became the smell of chlorine was soo bad! They told us they were renovating… we go up to the third floor the smell was horrible! The fumes from paint were soo strong and in our room as well. Room 306!!! Dead stink bugs on window seal. We stayed away as much as we could. It was a place to sleep. I don’t know if I’ll ever go back! "

"Absolutely disgusting experience. When we first pulled up to the hotel, I genuinely thought it was closed because the lobby was covered in dust and dirt and looked completely neglected. Unfortunately, that was only the beginning. We checked in quickly because we were heading to a wrestling championship and didn’t have time to really inspect the room. When we came back later and looked around, the room was absolutely filthy. The floors and walls were dirty and looked like they hadn’t been properly cleaned in a long time. To make matters worse, we found two live roaches in the room. At that point, we immediately packed up and left. I went straight to the front desk to check out and request a refund. The attendant, Dwayne, told me I had to contact Expedia. Expedia then made several attempts to reach the hotel for approval of the refund, but the hotel never responded to their calls or emails. It’s beyond unacceptable for a hotel to rent rooms that are this dirty and infested with roaches, and even worse that they refused to respond or take responsibility afterward. I am absolutely disgusted by this experience and the lack of accountability. Do yourself a favor and stay somewhere else. No guest should have to deal with this."

"Room was clean, equipped with basics. Would have appreciated coffee maker in room; walk to lobby coffee in morning when it’s raining and cold not optimal. No phone in room, but I understood they are upgrading system. Seemed to be plenty of charging outlets. "
