Its a super relaxed place to stay. "The property itself is beautiful. We stayed in the adults only lagoon. The day we got there they had emptied the lagoon and were filling it back up so we only got to swim in it the one day. The 4 star review is because of this, the staff when we got there really didn’t care and didn’t offer us anything, just expected us to suck it up even though we paid extra for that room. On Gill T the only way to get back and forth from the harbour with luggage is by the horses. It sounds cute but it is not! The horses are extremely overworked, hot, and dehydrated. Please don’t pack heavy going there. The staff were friendly enough, not as friendly as the mainland Bali, but none the less they were nice. The breakfast is insanely expensive so make sure to pay upfront for it while booking because it’s much cheaper. I would recommend staying in a villa, we had friends who stayed there and it was amazing. I also think the villa people have a much better experience at this place compared to an average room. Theres no coffee machine in the adults only lagoon room and it’s way at the back of the property. Along walk to the front but it is quiet so take that as you will. All in all, I wouldn’t be back. The hotel is very expensive and high end, we didn’t really fit in there and I’m not a fan of Gili T as an island. Mainly because of the treatment of the horses. I would skip the island all together and explore Lombok or main Gili more."

"This hotel is a breathtaking nature retreat that feels like a hidden paradise, completely surrounded by a lush, vibrant green jungle. The architecture and decor are stunningly beautiful, blending seamlessly with the natural landscape. My room and private pool were absolutely everything I hoped for, offering a private, pristine sanctuary to relax in. The staff was amazing, and the included breakfast was delicious and a great highlight every morning. It feels incredibly peaceful and secluded, yet it is still highly accessible to downtown Ubud and major activities by taxi. The only minor downside is the lack of a gym or on-site amenities other than the pool, but the pool itself is so beautiful that you won't even miss them. It was a flawless, magical stay!"

"If I could rate this hotel 6 stars out 5 I absolutely would, I genuinely can’t think of a better hotel in Bali than the Kayon Jungle Resort.. I’ve stayed here three times now and the one thing that keeps me coming back time and time again is the staff.. When you walk in, you literally feel like royalty.. Everyone is just so kind and genuine and you really feel like you’ve become part of their Balinese family throughout your time here.. I loved it so much that I even booked another stay here next year.. The pool bar and surrounding area literally feels like it’s been taken out of a painting with each of the pools flowing into the one below, it resembles a rice terrace field and gives a striking visual which is one of the reasons the resort has become so popular on Instagram and TikTok.. They really knew what they were doing when designing this place and it screams luxury! I can’t wait to see you all again next May! 🙏"

Both the villas and the grounds are immaculate, the staff cannot do enough for you and we found the food at both breakfast and the restaurants really good. Theres plenty to keep you occupied with daily shuttles into Ubud, daily rice terrace walks, frequent yoga and a fully stocked gym."
