The staff at this property go out of their was to ensure you have a memorable stay. My only regret is the property only has one restaurant and they do not have swimming pool.

I stayed for one night at the end of a business trip. I was in need of a rest and this hotel was just what I was hoping for. I arrived well before check in time, but was shown to the room right away and was given a room upgrade. The next day, my departing flight was in the evening, and when I asked for a late checkout I was allowed to have the room until 4pm, no questions asked. The staff was outstanding- friendly, helpful, professional and did everything possible to make my stay as enjoyable as possible. This was my first time in Saudi Arabia and I feel I got a sense of the famous Saudi hospitality. As for the hotel itself- it’s palatial! The room, bathroom, facilities, dining experience, etc are everything you would expect from a Ritz Carlton, ie, excellent. But for me, it was the staff that made this hotel special.

Very good that Alahmadi offered to show me this amazing and beautiful hotel. I would not have many parts of the hotel without him. The concierge suggested that I visit the International Tayebat City of Science and Knowledge. I enjoyed it very much. The museum includes the house of Saudi Arabian heritage, the house of Islamic heritage, the house of international heritage and the public heritage exhibition. There is also a religious school for the study of Islam (Madrasa) in the buildings. Moustafa Aglan, archeology specialist, showed me the museum.

Gorgeous architectural gem with a fantastic location but service and amenities fall short. While lavish looking, the rooms and amenities are dated. Old hair driers, telephones that are crackly, TVs that have no wireless connectivity. The gym is quite nice (mostly new Technogym equipment). The room service is fairly quite and well done. Would not count too much on the service which is very hit and miss. Lounge is brilliant for afternoon tea.

Excelente hotel

Excelente estadía en el hotel. Sorprendentemente nos hicieron un upgrade a la suite presidencial, estaba impresionante, 500m2 de suite. Con comedor para 12 personas y dos salas. Fue un gran gesto. Así mismo el gerente nos llevó a conocer los salones de eventos y el auditorio, quedamos impresionados también. El único punto a mejorar es que tienen dos restaurantes pero solo abren uno para cenar y parece que les hace falta personal ya que queríamos cenar rápido después de un día cansado de vuelos y la cena fue muy lenta, también vimos que muchas mesas se quedaban sucias por mucho tiempo una vez que se iban los comensales. Fuera de eso todo perfecto.
