"Pretty much in the middle of nowhere, along a really busy road, next to a garbage/recycling place. You show up in front of a closed gate you can't see through, with a bunch of lock boxes. Great. There's some sort of doorbell, but of course no one is there to answer. Now you have to dig through your Expedia files to try and find the hotel's phone number, which you call but nobody answers. It's 10 minutes later, you're exhausted after a long flight and bus ride, standing in the hot sun by the side of a highway, cursing the Gods and most especially the hotel owners. Desperate, you text the hotel's phone number, and apparently that's the key to getting the code to one of the lock boxes. I hate this hotel for not having a human to check you in. "
