"It was clear the hotel was under construction but th Expedia add did not specify that my from would be the closest room to the construction. When I checked in I was not informa d my room was in the construction zone either. Once I went to my room and heard all the noise I went back to the front desk and asked what the construction hours were and they said 9-5 which I could deal with. This was a lie as I was woken up at 7:05 from construction noise and could not go back to sleep. I’d just finished 14 days of 13 hour night shifts and a full day of skiing, all I wanted was a sleep in a bit. When I told the front desk about my experience they didn’t really seem to care. Pretty bummed. "

"Staff was very friendly and the resort is a really nice and cozy spot for families and couples. Rooms are comfortable and great quality. My one issue was the additional charge for resort amenities at the property that isn't reflected in the original price quoted and paid through Expedia. The amenities on the website include things like the lounge (closed at 8pm), cable tv, wifi (barely functional) smoke free rooms, and "free" parking. This charge feels a bit deceptive and I'm not confident the amenities provided justify it."

"We had stayed at JPL many years ago annd we enjoyed it then and although the recent forest fire affected the overall lodge it was still an enjoyable experience. Much of the main lodge was closed for renovations so there is no way to comment on what that would have done for our experience."
