「The staff are very helpful and friendly. They make you feel like you’re family. They were quick to respond when there was an issue with the heat in my room. The hotel is beautiful. The main floor is antique like the old city there is a lot of room to enjoy company or reading. The rooms on the upper floors are modern and very comfortable. My room had a great view of walls at the Jaffa Gate and the Tower of David. I highly recommend the Gloria Hotel 」

「Location was great, very accessible to the old city. Felt like home away from home. The food in the restaurant was delicious, very fresh and hearty, recommend dinner there. One thing we had a lot of ants in our room, which ciuld be mitigated by covering gaps in doors and windows. Also I understand its an old property but there are things that can be done about the general cleaniless and mould in bathrooms. 」

「I stayed at the Hotel Kaplan for a three week study program which was a 15 minute walk away. The rooms are clean, comfortable and provide you with the essentials, nothing more. While not an upscale hotel, the owners Eli and Nathan are very welcoming and are definitely part of the experience of staying there. A kitchen is available if you want to do light cooking. 「This is a perfect location right next to the city wall. Great architecture and very polite staff. The view and food in the Wine and Cheese Restaurant on the top floor was excellent. But I am not a big fan for wine and cheese but mainly refer to the dinner. Wifi is not reliable in room. Some electric socket was switched off in the main switch. Towels are old. But for the location I still give it a 5.」
