"If we could give zero stars, we would. Our stay was a disaster. On the first night, we discovered a serious gas leak, requiring us to call the fire department. After hours of dealing with the issue, they shut off the gas and confirmed that the water heater needed inspection. The following morning, the heater malfunctioned again, and we had to shut off the main gas entirely as per the fire department, leaving us without hot water, heat, or the ability to cook for the rest of our stay. "The house and property were beautiful and quiet. The house was perfect for the 4 of us. Chickens roamed the yard every morning. The covered front porch was great when it rained. The owners set the house up with everything you need. The property is only a 10-15 minute drive to grocery, restaurants, and any kind of shopping you may need. Cell service was really pretty good as well! We will definitely return!!"

"The Kudzu Cabin is on the owners property next to their home. The owners were amazing and very responsive. The cabin was charming, clean and very comfortable. Will stay there again if in Sylva!"

"Beautiful spot, but very tough drive in and out, hairpin turns, no lighting. Rent a 4 wheel drive vehicle if you go and have dinners (with wine or alcohol) at the house. Views take your breath away."

"My wife and I enjoyed our stay and loved the cabin. A little disappointed there was no recliner to relax in, but we were comfortable on the couch. This cabin is close to the Outpost (clubhouse) and most of the activities. We visited in the off-season, so there were very few people around. A lot of places were closed in Cashiers and Highlands, so not a lot of dining options. But the places we did eat at had very good food, (breakfast at the Blue Bike Cafe in Highlands is a must).
