I loved Iwakuni. It was quiet and very very clean.

Though Hashirano might not have many top sights, you can venture to the surrounding area to see attractions like Iwakuni Park and Kintaikyo Bridge.

Fresh coffee in lobby until midnight. Across street from convenience store.

The room was great. I was surprised to learn that each room only gets one pillow and that you need to rent a second one if you need it.

Hotel was clean and modern, close to public transportation, shopping, and restaurants. There was a fee for breakfast, which ended up being only 2 pre-prepared options: yogurt or egg sandwich.

Room was very spacious with comfortable beds, a couch and living area, large kitchen table, complimentary coffee, large bathroom and shower, toiletries, kettle, microwave, fridge and laundry machine.
