Stylish Hotel Facing Galata Port

The hotel is a small gem, very stylish decor. They gave us a big corner room 203. Very clean and comfortable. View from the room was fantastic, a small section of the Bosphorus straits at the corner of Galata Port. The bed and pillows were very good. We really slept well. Breakfast was basic Turkish spread. It would be nicer if they had options of scrambled eggs or sunny style up. The elevator was slow since there is only 1 serving 6 floors. But the staircase was spacious to walk up and down. The hotel is easily accessible using the tram. The Fındıklı station was nearer to the hotel. Hotel also close to the street crossing to go to Galata Port. Overall I would recommend this hotel

This hotel has serious issues and should not be listed as an option on Expedia. The elevator was out of order when my parents checked in, and my 80-year-old father and mother had to go up to the 6th floor with two heavy luggage. The room window opens to the back of an air conditioner fan with a strange smell and annoying noise. The room itself also smells like sewage. The stairs looked scary and really old. The only positive part of their stay was the restaurant view, which was fabulous, but overall, I would avoid staying at this hotel at all costs.

Worst experience

I dont recommend at all. All in all my experience was horrible and i will give it (1/10) and the 1 goes to the location. -Rooms are literally “shoe boxes” no space even for the handbag. -Sewage smell at the room. -Some rooms with no windows. -Windows isolation is zero (you hear everything out in the street). -You can hear and track every toilet flush in the hotel from your room. -They have only single rooms, even if you ask for a double room you will just pay extra for the same single room.

Wir waren für vier Tage da, alles klappte wunderbar. Personal sehr freundlich, sehr aufmerksam. Oben die Sky Bar mit einer tollen Aussicht beim Frühstücken oder abends die Nacht genießen. Können wir nur empfehlen und werde auf jeden Fall wieder bei meinem nächsten Istanbul Aufenthalt dieses Hotel nehmen. Danke schön

Personal sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Zimmer sind sehr klein, hätte sauberer sein können. Zimmerwände sehr dünn, man hört wirklich alles. Ansonsten, gutes Frühstück, gute Lage und zum Übernachten reicht es.

Dieses hotel ist wirklich nicht zu weiterempfehlen. zu erst hat es beim check in angefangen, als mir gesagt wurde, dass ich nicht bezahlt habe obwohl ich bereits bei der buchung mit der kreditkarte den betrag bezahlt habe, danach meinte der mitarbeiter und er hat darauf beharrt, dass wir ohne frühstück obwohl wir inkl. frühstück gebucht haben. personal kann kaum englisch, die kommunikation ist sehr schwierig. die zimmer sind sehr klein, lärm von draussen hört man sehr sehr gut, als würde man auf der strasse schlafen. die zimmer sind mit mücken überfüllt. Putzteam säubert die Zimmer nicht richtig.

Katastrophe!!!

Das Personal war sehr nett, hilfsbereit, freundlich. Geschäftsführer waren sehr aufdringlich wenn wir auf Taxi draußen gewartet haben wurde uns sogar angeboten das sie uns mit ihren privat Fahrzeugen fahren würden nach mehrmaliger Ablehnung wurden sie sehr unhöflich und aufdringlich. Sauberkeit will ich garnicht ansprechen dreckige Lappen wurden auf denn FRISCH bezogenen Bett vergessen mehrmals Dusche war immer überschwemmt nach jedem duschen haben nicht Handtücher bekommen. Hatten an diesem Aufenthalt nur Probleme, Stress und Streitigkeiten. Sehr schlimm. Nicht weiter zu Empfehlen. Mein Zimmer war ein Nichtraucher Zimmer es hat aber trotzdem dauerhaft nach Zigaretten gestunken Klimaanlage hat nicht funktioniert. Nach mehrmaligen Fragen wurden wir ignoriert.

False promises and inkompetent management

Had booked a room with partial seaview, got to the room and the room doesn't even have a window, I go down to the reception and comment on this and the next room they show is a room with a window but the only view is the view of 2 airconditioners. The staff said if i paid more i could get another room with more seaview. The staff felt very instructed to "negotiate". Even if the staff was polite, it was a really a vulgar experience, since frankly what I had booked wasn't actually available. In the bathroom the pipes were leaking and there were signs of black mold in the ceiling. Behind the sink there were pieces of plastic belonging to former guests. The housekeeping between guests seemd not to be proper. The bedroom was good but small. My travelpartner who stayed in another room couldn't get his door properly opened to his bathroom due to the toilet blocking the door. Someone didnt do their job properly building the hotel. The location is decent and the rooftop restaurant is really good. The staff was really helpful with everything. but there is something seriously wrong with the hotel management

Amazing experience !!!

I stayed there for 12 days, it was amazing. Staff was very friendly, helpful, and professional at the same time. Prices are really good to get that bosphorus view as well as the location is near to kabatas terminal and the tramway station is just beside the hotel. Didn’t find any difficulties during my stay. Rooms were cleaned and disinfected frequently as well as the whole hotel. Surely will book with them if ever been there again.

great place to get relaxed

Location is prefect, close to the public transport and with a direct view of the bosphorus. Respect to guest as well as to environment is visible everywhere. You feel welcome from the very first minute you enter the hotel and it continue without any interruption till to the end of your stay. Service people are kind, competent and solution-oriented. Overall, you can feel sincere hospitality.
