Very bad experience

Before the check in day, the receptionist text me they can provide airport tranfer between hotel. One way transfer is €50 . Normally , it costs around .€30. Because I arrive Istanbul in morning 6:00 a.m. and I can arrive hotel on 8;00 am. For early Check in, it asks me for €50 . I dont accept thr offer and go for sightseeing. After i get the room on2:00pm, i want to take rest and sleep. Unfortunately, there is construction work nearby and it is very noisy. i can't take a rest and sleep in the hotel. It is very bad. The receptionist just says the noise will end on 5:00pm😡. Also, the room is very hot. The air-conditioner not functioning well. Then, i went out for sightseeing again and come back hotel at night. On around 21:30, the receptionist call my room and ask me to change the room from ground floor to 2nd floor. The reason is there is water leakage in the ground floor. Conclusion: DON'T BOOK THIS HOTEL

I read all the wonderful reviews and wonder if we were staying at the same hotel. We found the rooms small which could have been overcome with better design and decor. Although we had a sea view we couldn’t get to the window due to the heavy furniture in front of it. The hotel truly needs an update. My bed smelled like cigarette smoke as did the lobby. The staff in the kitchen were unfriendly and we found the food rather boring after a few days. The location was perfect though. For the money we paid there are better options.

Hotel is really close to the Hagia Sofia. Best unique feature was the terrace on the roof. It was an amazing experience to watch the sunrise over Bosphoros drinking tea on the terrace. Food options are abundant, in a block distance. Compared to the surrounding streets, this one id on a quiet one. Breakfast was good. We stayed two nights, and it was great value for the money.

A recepção foi excelente, muito gentis, Yunus foi quem recomendou e reservou nossos passeios.Maravilhosos! O quarto amplo e arejado, toalhas trocadas diariamente. Café da manhã foi bom com grande variedades de geleias/compotas, queijos, pães e lentilhas. Gozleme feito na hora, delicioso.

The room was well appointed and had nice touches like heated floors near the toilet. The beds were very comfortable, the whole hotel was very well maintained and clean. The staff was lovely from the sweet maids to the excellent and attentive front desk attendant. The breakfast room was open all hours for coffee, teas or refilling your water bottle which was nice and convenient. The terrace on the roof has a beautiful view of the water and the ships passing. The area feels super safe, well lit with tons of other boutique hotels, shops, cafes and restaurants with people strolling around at night taking in all the colors, sights and delicious smells. Excellent value for the price!

Buffet breakfast had a good variety of foods and juice. The room and bath were clean and ver comfortable. The hotel was convenient for walking to historic sites and several restaurants are nearby. The only downside is that it is amongst small streets and a bit hard for taxis. Definitely gracious staff.

Great staff - very courteous and went out of their way to be helpful. The room was surprisingly spacious and was very clean. The breakfast was very much a traditional Turkish breakfast. Instead of sloping scrambled eggs and beans in a tin, these were proper eggs with spices, different yogurts and cheeses, local breakfast meats and teas. And, of course, the location is outstanding - just a few minutes walk to Sultanahmet Camii (the Blue Mosque). The hotel also arranged for a cab to take us to the airport for a flat rate of 40 Euros. We ended up paying extra to take the toll road because traffic was so bad, so ended up being 50 Euros total for a 50 minute ride to Istanbul Airport. We would happily stay here again.
