Great location, service and breakfast!

Great location, helpful, friendly staff, great breakfast. Room was small but perfectly formed. Loved our wee balcony. Only slight downside was the very hot room in winter.

Great hotel in a great location.

I can't recommend this place enough. It's right in the old town of Fatih next to beautiful Gulane park where you can sit and have tea overlooking the city. The staff are amazingly friendly and so warm towards our young child. The room was lovely, overlooking the street with the trams which wasn't an issue. The breakfast incredible with such a huge selection. This is the best value hotel I've stayed in.

Excellent location, exceedingly tiny room

The hotel is situated in one of the most vivid areas of Istanbul and, yet, it is very quiet. The staff is very helpful and the breakfast delicious and rich. The only negative point was the dimension if the room 304: other than the bed, there was barely space at all!

excellent location with a tram stop 10 steps away

the staff at the hotel is outstanding they know the city and provide great advice on getting around it the breakfast offered by the hotel is delicious and it allows you to either try a turkish type of breakfast or your more occidental type meal. The room size is more than adequate and the bathrooms are large, clean and have inmediate hot water for your showers. at 100 dollars the night our room was an excellent decision

Nice, comfortable hotel. Very good location

Hotel is very well located in Sulthanamet. All historical atractions can be reached by foot. Tram is just a few meters from hotel and can connect you easily with Taksim and Beyoglu. Staff is excellent and kind, they are always ready to help you and give indications. Breakfast is very good too, good pastry assortment and enjoyable turkish breakfast available. Rooms are nice, clean but not too big. I will highly recommend this hotel!

Near Topkapi with access to transit

Good service from staff. Provided information on tours to Topkapi palace, Blue Mosque, Hagia Sofia, Bosphorus cruise. Good overall hotel located next to Topkapi palace and on the tram line. Gulhane stop is just down the street from the hotel. Only issue would be that the walls are thin and you can hear the neighbouring suite.

Good - except for the building site next door!

Hotel was good, staff were friendly, location was great. However, building site next door meant being woken up every morning (including weekend) by heavy machinery... not what I wanted when I'm trying to relax on holiday!

Value for $$

Pros: One of the few hotels that I've really felt was value for money, Nice staff, nice room (106) Great breakfast (Yum yum!) , good wifi & spot on location with the tram just a few steps from the front door! Cons: Walls are a bit thin, noise wise but it wasn't a noisy hotel Room was too warm for me, but I noticed if you keep the bathroom door shut it helps. Also open the window of course.
