The staff was incredible. Mohammad was extremely helpful, very kind and welcoming from the moment I stepped into the property. He helped me with my luggage and explained everything about the hotel and the dining options. He has a heart of gold. Pinar was the lady who made sure my room was clean and I had enough tea, coffe and water at all the time. She was so kind. Thank you so much, Pinar. Vidat at the front desk was very helpful as well. He kindly accommodated all my requests and needs. Feruza, Anil and Mohammad 2 were also great at customer service. They were all very professional and kind. I loved the food in the restaurant. It was a great stay at Dosso Dossi. Thank you all so much.

OK hotel let down by staff and surrounding area is very dirty and unsafe. Perched on the top of a very steep hill, the Dosso Dossi Golden Horn hotel’s location is not ideal for guests with limited mobility to be able to simply get down to street level. The street level is filthy with a lot of homeless people burning things. My first impression on entering the hotel was to be greeted by a non working metal detector machine that people just walk around (needs to be removed). Then came the 30mins wait to check in as I observed the receptionist being quite overwhelmed and rude to two sets of guests before me. Then of course came my turn and when I asked if I could pay for an upgrade to a larger room, he rudely told me no they didn’t have any, without checking (I later found out they did have a room and was able to pay to upgrade). On upgrading to a bigger suite, my bedsheets had to be changed on the 1st day as I found women's false lashes stuck to my sheets and the duvet and pillows smelt dirty. All-in-all I found staff quite unhelpful when asking for local tourist suggestions. Taxis were charged at an exorbitant price in euros (when you can easily pay 1/10th the price in TRY if you order it yourself)….although be careful using Uber as local Yellow taxis always over charge and put any price they want on the final bill! I came to Istanbul to relax after a funeral and it’s such a shame I had an awful time and the hotel staff were so unhelpful....I will never come back here!

Worst stay at a hotel ever.. They set the room temperature at high temperature and they can’t adjust and didn’t return my money when I cancelled because I can’t sleep at high temperature room because of my hyperthermia problem.

The hotel was new, clean and specially have a good services. To me, the service is the most important item in hotels. The breakfast was very good. The view of my room was very beautiful. The staff and the crew were kind and deft. It is necessary to appreciate and thank Mrs. Yeliz Honic , Guest Relation Manager for her kind hospitality. She would always in the morning , with cheerful and smiling face , greet every guest that would make them good feeling. Of course other staff were good, kind and specialised as Mrs. Yesim Ayten , Guest Relation Executive and all others I had a good time at the hotel.

Toller Empfang bei Ankunft! Schönes Zimmer, super Bett und jeden Tag wurde das Zimmer gereinigt. Sehr sauber! Super Ausblick. Leider gibt es im TV keinen einzigen Deutschen Sender! Das sollte man ändern. Frühstück war reichlich und viel Auswahl! Es fährt jeden Tag ein Shuttle Bus zum Taksim Platz und nach Kabatas. Das ist so super! Großen Dank an den Shuttle Fahrer Ibrahim. Er hat uns viel erklärt und war immer sehr zuverlässig und pünktlich!! Ebenfalls Danke an das komplette Team für die Gastfreundschaft. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und kommen gerne wieder!

Erken giriş yapmak istedik ama müsaitlik olmadığı için beklemek zorunda kaldık bize verilen odayı barış bey değiştirdi deniz manzaralı balkonlu bir oda verdi. Odayı beğendik daha öncede konaklama yapmıştık bu ikinci oldu. Personel genel anlamda yardımsever , otel temiz , ancak şu an tesiste restorasyon çalışması var gideceklerin bilgisi olsun, Yemekler güzel. Ancak fiyatlar biraz yüksek :)

Leider würde ich den Ort nicht mehr weiter empfehlen. Ich war mit meiner Frau und wir haben uns Tag 1 schrecklich gefühlt. Als wir eingecheckt haben ist uns aufgefallen, dass der Zimmer den wir bekommen haben, sich mit dem Nachbarzimmer direkt durch eine Tür verbindet. Am Abend waren jugendliche im Nachbarzimmer, die sehr laut wurden. Wir konnten kaum schlafen. Nach dem wir uns zum zweiten Mal beschwert haben, bekamen wir im dritten Stockwerk ein Zimmer mit einem schönem Aussicht. Kaum haben wir uns gefreut, fingen die morgens um 10 Uhr an zu Segen, zu Bohren, zu hämmern. Als wir uns beschwerten, musste ich mir Anhören, dass die versuchen auf 5 Sternen zu kommen. Man hat uns mitgeteilt, dass es den auch leid tut und der Staat so vorschreibt wie Sie es zu machen haben und die wären schuld. Um Fitness Bereiche und Schwimmbad zu haben, müssten Sie jeden Tag dran arbeiten und das ganze hat morgens angefangen bis Abends. Ich würde es nicht weiterempfehlen. Einzig wahre was lobenswert war, sind die Putzkräfte die sehr freundlich waren und einen perfekten Job getan haben.
