A beautiful place and worth visiting, every detail is taken care of and the hotel staff really is to be envied, they make you feel at home especially at check in. Unfortunately, in the pool area, the pool staff told us that we could not stay in the area because they had scheduled an event, to which I replied that no one had informed us of this at the check in. I would have handled it differently not to make feel my guests unwelcome. I would also like to comment that we ran out of Tulum because of the noise in the beach area by the beach clubs, these beach clubs believe that having the volume high will attract more clientele and what they are doing is driving people away from the tourist destination. I would not like that with private or public parties, the peace of the hotel and Holbox get affected, like tulum, I mention this because that day at night they had a Dj, with high volume music, so it was like a joke to leave tulum looking for peace to arrive to a hotel with dj music. the staff mention it was the first time, I really ask the owners to consider and take care of the amazing beautiful hotel they have.

My family and I spent the entire week at Hotel Aldea Kuká, and I can say without a doubt that it’s one of the places where we’ve experienced the kindest and most attentive service of any hotel we’ve ever stayed in. At reception, Mitch, Gladys, and Abigaíl; and in the restaurants, Eduardo, Israel, and Mike—all of them were truly dedicated to making us feel seen, welcome, and cared for. I believe Holbox is a paradise. The beaches, the sandbars, the crystal-clear water, and the fact that you can walk hundreds of meters into the sea without the water rising above your knees—it’s honestly hard to put into words. The hotel is beautiful and well-maintained. The beds are comfortable, and the view from the balcony is breathtaking. The food is excellent in all the restaurants, and the pool is also a lovely space where you can easily spend long stretches of time. In short: the hotel is stunning, the location is divine, and the staff is absolutely wonderful. They genuinely go out of their way to make you happy, and if something goes wrong, they make sure to fix it immediately. We were truly happy in Holbox, and that was largely thanks to the team at Hotel Aldea Kuká. Highly recommended.

Wunderschöne Anlage die sehr gepflegt ist vor allem Die Außenbereiche werden täglich sehr sorgfältig gereinigt! Sehr liebes Personal bis auf einen Herren an der Rezeption Mario. Uns wurde gleich zu Beginn diverse Wertgegenstände sowie Bargeld aus dem Zimmer gestohlen ( der Safe funktionierte am 1.tag noch nicht!) dies sollte natürlich generell nicht passieren und in einem Hotel dieser Klasse noch weniger. Wir wurden von Mario indirekt beschuldigt, selber schuld zu sein da wir ja die Sachen nicht im Safe hatten. Ich packe doch nicht jedes Wechselgeld, iPad Pencil etc. In den Safe! Das war sehr ärgerlich und ich hätte mir einen anderen Umgang gewünscht! Ansonsten war es sehr schön alles ist sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet das Frühstück ist sehr lecker:) Wünschenswert wäre noch die Möglichkeit, Trinkwasser am Strand zur Verfügung zu haben. Immer Mineralwasser zu bestellen wird auf Dauer etwas teuer. Zimmer sind leider extrem hellhörig man sollte versuchen nicht im Untersten Stockwerk zu sein - teilweise dachte ich die Leute laufen durch unser Zimmer …

Disappointing Experience During Our Honeymoon We recently stayed at this hotel for our honeymoon, and our experience was far from what we had envisioned. The hotel is extremely noisy, especially if you find yourself allocated a room near the front entrance. The constant traffic from golf carts driving by late at night, coupled with loud music, made it nearly impossible to get a restful night’s sleep. Even when we moved to a room at the back of the hotel, we encountered the same issue; the thin walls allowed us to hear everything which was quite disruptive. The situation took a serious turn when we discovered that approximately £450 of our money had gone missing. We reported this alarming theft to the manager, who assured us that he would review the CCTV footage. However, the communication barrier proved to be a significant challenge, as the manager, Fernandez, had limited English skills. This led to further frustration, as we had to rely on front desk staff to interpret our concerns. Initially, we had requested an upgrade to make our honeymoon more special, but our request was denied. Ironically, after the theft incident, the manager offered us an upgrade as a gesture of goodwill. This felt insincere, especially since he acknowledged that thefts had occurred at the hotel before. Overall, we were deeply disappointed. The lack of security, combined with the noise and communication issues, overshadowed what was meant to be a joyful occasion. We will be filing a complaint.

This hotel was great, very relaxing and zen. The location was perfect, not too close to the downtown, but easy 15 mins walk. Staff was very attentive and catering.

When you dream or vacation - those few minutes in where you get to take stock of things - you are dreaming of this hotel THE ALDEA KUKA, and you don’t even realize it. There should be more than the standard 5 stars to recognize that the Aldea Kuka is not simply the best in the area, nor in Mexico. It belongs atop the WORLD’S list. Every single staff member is an absolute star. I cannot wait to go again.

Toda la noche se escuchan motocicletas con música y gente gritando. Seguro las habitaciones que ven al mar no tienen ese problema. La cama no tiene cabecera y la hace incómoda. Los restaurantes con muy buena comida y el lugar en general es muy agradable.

We had a wonderful week staying at Aldea Kuká. Staff are super friendly and nothing is too much trouble. The property is lovely. Food and cocktails are awesome. Definitely the nicest sun loungers out of all the properties along the beach. Love that you can easily walk into town and to all the restaurants. Would definitely recommend and would love to come back and stay again!

Everything was amazing, location, staff, amenities, food, etc. Except that in my room I could hear every movement and talk of the guest on the room above mine. I woke up because of the other guest alarm two days in a row.
